today I made smothered pork chops, rice and sauteed garlic and olive oil string beans from my brothers garden. Ahhhhhhh Im so full. I had small portions but it was "slammin"

I had a problem though eating a devil dawg. swallen that was like clump clump clump but I craved it soo bad that i wahed it down with pepsi and when it came bak up cuz i 4got to consist the dam dawg i swallowed more pepsi.

NowI think I have the eyetis,

Yum, your pork chop meal sounds great! We've been grabbing meals out a lot, because we're working so hard every day that it's a special treat to get away for a bit. You and your pepsi--I'm glad you're able to enjoy it still!

A devil dog is a cake made by I think hostess or one of them. Creme filled however dry as the sahara....

I just had sum bake ziti for breakfast.Im not complaining at all becuz I haent ate a large portion in a while .small portions that seem to to stuff me immensely. Yummy it beats choking!! LOL

Hope you're not melting in the 90 degree weather! I'm not a fan of hot and humid. I've loved the cool summer--especially with all the work we've been doing around the house.

the only thing that seems to bother me is i still get a bad taste in my mouth??? Im wondering why if i am now wrapped and this was suppose to help it?

Hi Bea,
What does your "bad taste" taste like? Have you Googled the topic to see if there is anything that makes sense?
If you're not experiencing reflux feelings otherwise, it's doubtful that your bad taste is related to your surgery. Are you on any different medications? Some of those can cause bad tastes. How about a trip to the dentist, in case it's related to your oral health.
Good luck finding relief!

We sold our house yesterday. If all goes well with the inspection and bank appraiser, we're good to go. It's a relief as we go forward with building the town house, but YIKES--we'll be homeless for a few months. Wish us luck! It'll be a strange Christmas! Hope we can find a suitable place to hang out until we can move. I've still got to work another school year where we live now, so that'll be interesting, too.

Bea, I have a bad taste in my mouth a lot, I don't know why it is, or what is causing it; but I am noticing that as I get better and better, it seems to be going away. (But remember, I'm an Accountant, not a Dentist!!)

After getting sick last winter, I developed burning tongue syndrome?!? and from there the bad taste in my mouth; the burning has pretty much resolved itself but does show up once in awhile and the bad taste has also started to go away. Like I said, I have no idea why or what, with the exception of (and hold on to our hat!) I cut way back on my beloved Coke..perhaps Pepsi??? Bea?, Bea???? Pick yourself up off the floor Bea!!!

Hi Guys,

 Its definitley not oral.I went to the dentist. The only meds i take is crstor for the triclycerides. I am headed for the GI on aug 27, so we will see?

My oldest daughter Nikki, was sick since fridayso I was over there. I had to take her to the E.R last night and of course we stayed until this a.m. she is an asthmatic, seriously, she had a nurse 1 to 1 growing up in skool who administered her nebulizer every 2-3 hours. She followed her all the way from kinder-thru 10th grade. Anyways, i sorta miss her expertise. I had to be a disgruntled

parent in order to get the ball rolling .Finally we went home. She was dehydrated, asthma, slight pneumonia (like I told them)

Now im finally home thank god im exhausted. i am now 163 pounds . from 197!!! i think im scarin myself now. i dont wanna get any skinnier.

Denise good luck if ya want you guys can come stay here with us, just makesure you set up the jetson car so you get to work on timme and back home lol

Hi Bea,
I feel for your daughter with her asthma. Before the surgery, my asthma was out of control, and I was nebulizing two to three times a day for about a year. Coughing and coughing--it was terrible. Thank God I had the surgery. Even with all the allergies and pollen, my asthma is 100% better. I hope your daughter gets well quickly.

Bea, congratulations on the weight loss!! I bet you look wonderful! I've been worried about you, we haven't seen you much :(
I'm sorry about your daughter; there is NOTHING worse than a sick child. I'm glad you were able to get over to her and take care of her.
Denise, what a relief to hear that you are finally, finally better! Even with all the work on the house and you're asthma is better!!! What a great thing! I remember telling you the difference this surgery made for me, pulmonary wise, I'm very happy that you are finally able to experience this as well!

Hi Janice and denise, I hope all is well.My daughter is finally better this is why i am on here. She is goin to be 23 but wont let go of the breastmilk. I say Nik, your 22 now let o of mommys breast milk and drink ensure lol. I hope they remember not to put mein a nursing home all that I do even at their older ages.lol

Hope all is well. I am having them esphageal spasms that scare me but imok other wise. (The bad taste too)

Hey Bea,
When do you get the spasms? I don't get many, and the ones I have are very close to the wrap, and only happen when I challenge it. Once my wrap feels irritated, if I drink (especially cold) something, I get some spasms. It's not often, though.

What did your doc say about the bad taste in your mouth?
Glad your daughter is better...hey we do a lot for our kids, too. Part of being parents, I guess...neverending!

Bea my friend, I wondered where you were hiding out with your Pepsi..............I thought maybe you had a secret refrigerator box down under a bridge somewhere and were a closet Pepsi drinker.  I drink my Diet Coke right out in public.  LOL.

I am so sorry your daughter was sick and what a wonderful Mom you are.  Our children are our children for all of our lives.  Glad you were assertive in the ER and made sure your daughter received the appropriate care she need it.  Or perhaps you just grabbed the Doctor by the scruff oh his neck and shouted " My Daughter needs you NOW. That always get the Docs attention. 

My children have already picked out the carpet for my room at the home.  devil I planned on rotating and spending a week at each of their homes. 

Hope your appointment on the 26th goes well.

I always see Christmas trees in the stores and the banks all decorated with presents underneath them........help yourself to a pretty package.  Get your family picture taken in front of one of those beautiful trees.  Order your Kentucky Fried Chicken early.  No really, I am serious !  tongue

I am so happy for you and thrilled that your asthma is so much better.  You are a kind and caring person.  You deserve the good times ahead.
