They finally contacted me!

I just logged onto the computer and checked my email. There was a email from the surgery cordinator. She said to call her as soon as possible for a discussion. It's too late to call her tonight. I'll have to call on Monday during my planning time. I'm worried she will say I have to have the Nissen instead of the EsophyX.

Hi Joy,
I'm with Kitt...don't fret about what they're going to say. It is as it is. You can't control what happens by worrying about it, so just go about your normal activities and try not to think about it too much. It'll be Monday before you know it, and you'll get your answer.

Out of curiousity I called the office today, just to see if any one was there. They were . The lady I needed to talk to answered . She told me to get my available dates together and call her on Monday to see which one he's available on.

I'll have to undergo another Endoscope and spend the night local before the surgery. He wants to double check the other doctor's findings and decide if I'm a good risk plus wants to see for himself the layout.

So.... I have to plan a day for travel, find a motel for the night, go the next day for the endoscope and pre op stuff, then if everythings good I have the surgery on day three. However I still have to stick around one more day for post op check up.

My mother wants to go along with me to keep me company and since she don't drive she wants my father to drive us. Plus my niece who lives with us is thinking of riding along with us.  I've got a whole gang going with me!

Whew! My motel bill is going to be huge.  

 Nobody's going to get any Christmas from me this year. Maybe Dollar Tree purchases. My Christmas Club is going to pay that bill. They will understand. They've been worried about me and my problems for awhile. My niece keeps saying, "I'm sorry." like it's her fault I've got so many troubles.

It's been an expensive year, griff.

Ever since I started seeing my GERD doctor back in November my bills have grown.

I owe a $1000 dollars to one hospital, $200 to another hospital, and another hospital bill that is going to come in any day now. I buy about $300 worth of medications every month.  I pay $30 every time I see one of my doctors. And that's all with great insurance.

Chronic illnesses stink! (GERD, asthma, allergies, hypothyroidism, high cholesterol, sleep apnea)

Sorry, just needed  to vent.
