Different procedures?

I know there are a few different procedures that can be done but I'm wondering about the pros and cons of each one. I know my dr was talking about the nissen but I'm curious about the other ones too.

Have you researched the options online? You can get a lot of information that way. My doctors have been more positive towards that Nissen because it's got a longer track record. There are some docs who don't like the procedure, because it has variable results, but I for one, am SO glad I had it done. It made a tremendous difference with my health.
The new, alternatives to the Nissen haven't been around long enough to determine their success rate.

There's also the EsophyX procedure out there.
It's been approved in the US for about three years, but was used for many years in Europe.
It's the least invasive surgery. It has a reported 90 percent success rate and a quicker healing time than the Nissen. The downside is your HH must be a certain size, if it's too big it won't work. There's a doctor in Georgia who give detail information from his office about it. Just type in "EsophyX procedure in Georgia" and his is the first one on the list.
