slight bowel ache back pain

Are you still taking pain meds as the narcotics are notorious for causing constipation. You may want to talk with your physician re use of a stool softener.

Usually people have issues with dumping syndrome after a Nissen. I too am wondering if you are still taking any pain meds? They can bind you up in a hurry. The mineral oil or stool softener is a good idea either way.

Cowboy, they took out my gallbladder when I had the Nissen, and thank goodness I had Bill to tell me what was going on with me...I had no idea! The constant dumping, bloating, messed up irregularity, all caused an inflammation in my intestinal tract. It caused back pain for me and is still an issue..I hope you get better soon!

Usually it will get better with time. I am not sure it completely goes away. Some can figure out what foods may trigger it and some can't. I think it has been about 2 months since I had an episode. Make sure to drink plenty of water also. If you aren't taking in enough water you can have issues also.
