Greetings. I am new to this site but very interested to correspond with others who have GERD. I have an endoscopy and colonoscopy in the morning-have had liquids all day and started my prep at 3 with 2 Dulcolax, Miralax started at 5 mixed in Crystal Light, and in a few minutes, take the other 2 pills. I am still drinking the Miralax, but probably have drunk almost 3/4 of it. Nothing has happened yet-should I be worried? The last procedure 4 years ago was drinking that yucky stuff, but it worked quickly. What to do? Wait???

Don't worry your prep will work. My hubby had his in May and had little results to start with from the prep but it did work.

Good luck with your colonoscopy and endoscopy tomorrow! Not a fun prep, I know. I had the double tests a few years ago. It's not all that bad. We'll be here waiting to hear the results.

I've never heard of that kind of prep. My mother had to drink two sodium citrites(?) and a gallon jug of some sodium mixture. It took two days to go through. She said she was so cleaned out the doctor was able to get great pictures.
