Hi Folks,

I'm in my early 50's and recovering from a Nissen which was performed on 13 October 2009. I was fortunate to have the top surgeon for the procedure in the city and went into it with every confidence.

Now I'm over 2, nearly 3 weeks into my recovery and learning more & more each day. It's great to have such an awesome resource as this to learn from people who have actually been through it before me. While we're all going to react and heal a little differently, there's certainly enough commonalities to make it all worth sharing.

I'm all the way down in Georgia. My doctor is a five hour drive further south of me. I think that maybe too far for you. :)
