I want you to know that if not for you I would not be feeling the good way I do about myself a this point in my life. If you had not noticed that my lashing out on here was my way of reaching out for help, I might not have stuck it out here and made all these wonderful friends and found the love and support that has enriched my life immensesly at Healing Well. It isn't that you just noticed either , it is that you truly care and you naturally make all of us happy  and you give us a safe place to go to chat and a safe place to call our second home.

We love you, I love you and I respect you from the bottom of my heart dear lady.

Happy Holidays and all the best in the New Year to you and yours !!!!!!

Kitt has truly been an inspiration to me. Helping others while dealing with so much herself. Thank you Kitt! Hope the leg and back get to feeling better soon too.

I have found this forum to be the most warm and supporting one of all the forums I belong to and I come here for the love, friendship and support.

Thank you so much for your kind words and they come at a time when I needed a lift as my spirit was drooping yesterday but now I come here to my forum of comfort and find all of you and I remember why I love this site.

It is true, here in this forum I do find peace and friendship and caring............you each give so much of yourselves and share your experiences with each other............it is truly uplifting to be here with all of you.

We are getting the snow but not as much as some of the cities south of us............we expect up to 7 inches.

We got about 4 inches and then it switch to rain/sleet at about 3 pm and still doing that. They say we may get hail and thundersnow tonight. It's 34 right now, warmest it's been all day. That should change in the next few hours though.

Hey Bill and everyone

It is a balmy 3 degrees here in South Dakota !! Windchill about 15 below where I am at, even colder on the eastern side of the state where my son and daughter both go to college!!

The next 32 degree day will feel good !!

How is everyone doing this evening ? Kitt, are you working all this week? How long of a Christmas break will you have from school? my daughter whjo is a senior this year ( but going another tow right away to get her masters!! you go Ashley !! ) has a month off and my son who is a first year student at our top votechnical school 

has about two weeks off. He is jealous that his sister has longer !!

I am exicted to have them both home with Ashleys husband and Andrews girlfriend for the Holidays !!

What will you all be doing for Christmas? Staying home or traveling or both ??

I am a little bummed tonight....just a little !!

My new tree, that was supposed to stay all lit if even one bulb went out is a third out tonight !!!

LOL !!!!

If I have to take all the decorations aoff and return that tree to the store they are going to give me that tree free!!!!! UGHHHH !!

Kitt, you are awesome. I have had a really hard year and you have helped me through it all. I don't know what I would have done with out you or the others here. You always know just the right thing to say. You are a very important part of this forum. Don't ever doubt that. Now go give that puppy a hug. I find that always helps too. I love the poem. I'll take your 7 inches of snow for our 14. Yuck! Well at least my lung doc gave me the ok to go cross country skiing. He said to make sure I take my inhaler with me and take it before I go. He doesn't know what my rash is from but suggested benedryl and to see my regular doctor. I'm trying the Benedryl first. I don't have time to go see another doctor nor the desire. Barb

Hello All

I am back and we had a great trip. My daughter and son-in-law are the best and really treated me great. We saw Cher in concert and I loved it. We also went to the buffet, the comedy club and karaoke..........and no I do not sing but love to watch. Bill should have been there singing and strumming on his guitar.

We did a bit of Christmas shopping and of course went to Toby Kieth's Grill where I ate nachos. I did not eat any ice cream so no issues with my reflux. Also no fried onions.

Now I am back in the land of the freezing tundra...........brrrrrrrrrrrr a balmy zero when our plane landed last night.

Good to be home thow.

It's 34 degrees, raining cats and dogs, and very strong winds.
I feel like I swam home from work. It's flooding everywhere.
