The allergy "pricks" are no big deal, don't hurt. They only itch a little if they find something you are allergic to. There are blood tests, but they are no better at finding allergies.
Food sensitivity testing isn't very accurate. It doesn't test for the additives that are usually found in foods the way we actualy eat them, only the bare food item itself.
The best way to test for food sensitivities is to keep a food log for a month or so and then do challenge testing at home. I posted more on TiBoBe's thread.
