3 months post Nissen... Questionable pain

I am 3 mos post Nissen having alot of heartburn type pain but it is lower down - nowhere near my esophagus - more like under my lower rib cage. It happens no matter what I eat and sometimes even if I don't eat anything. I don't have any reflux or burning in my chest like with the pre surgery heartburn.

I do think I eat too fast. Could this still be causing pain 3 mos out?

Any similar experiences out there?

I did have my gallbladder out at the same time as the Nissen.

Still I am wondering if it could have something to do with the gallbladder surgery rather than the Nissen.

I would hate to think that after everything I was through with surgery it was unsuccessful. I keep trying to tell myself that it is not heartburn. I am delaying on calling my surgeon because I have lousy insurance but if it comes down to it I will have to.
