Nissen Fundoplication Surgery tomorrow 01/26/2010

I just signed up with this forum but I've been visiting a bunch the last few months.. Tomorrow I go in for my Nissen Surgery. I'm 46 and suffered all year with a horrid cough. Acid getting in my lungs etc...Lots of test later, my surgeon feels confident that the surgery will help me. I'm so nervous and hoping to get some words of encourgement for tomorrow. I know this will be a sleepless night redface

I am right there with you. (similar situation, too) Just think, you will be 2 days into your recovery when I am having my surgery... :)

Sending you good vibes as you go into surgery and please do post when you are able as we like to hear about your recovery and also the members are great at supporting each other after surgery.

well when you get this message you will have had it done. good luck for your recovery . i am 5 weeks post opp my self and went out for my first meal last night had a little pasta . had great time no problems yeah
