GERD and probiotics

Has anyone ever tried probiotics for their gerd? I went off my probiotics for a while and when I went back on them, I noticed my GERD went away..... and I hope it stays away!!!! It can be so relentless.

I used to take probiotics, but for my gas troubles. I never noticed them affecting my GERD. They didn't help my gas either. :(
