Healing your LES

Does anyone know how long it takes to completely heal your LES?

You can't heal it. It will always be weak unless you have the surgery to reinforce it.
Unless you're talking about the surgery????
The final 10% of the healing from the surgery can take up to a year.

If your lucky it can go back to healthy on its own, but not for everyone. There is surgery of course and also drugs that stimulate it into action.

Thanks guys, no Joy I wasn't talking about surgery I was reading a website on how to heal you LES using honey and an alkaline diet but there was no info on how long this takes.

They just trying to get your money...
They know that desparate people will buy anything.

My surgeon said a weak LES is from having a larger than normal hole in the diaphram that the esophagus goes through. By it being larger the esophagus sags some causing a HH and a weak LES. He said the only solution is to tighten the hole and do a wrap.
