has anyone try taking 300mg of Zantac to help wit the pain?

I have tried several different medications, they start to work for about a month, then the buning and pain come back. I am taking zantac 300mg twice daily and so far so goodl

Just wanted to know who else has tried this........any ideas would be help ful. Thanks

Dear April,

Each person is different and will respond to the medications in their own way. I found the PPI meds worked better for me. I did use the Zantac for awhile but OTC not Rx strength.

Before my surgery I was on 2 nexium and 300mg zantac. I had silent gerd so I never hurt, just coughed all the time.
