Last night, after dinner, I suddenly developed sooooo much gas in my stomach. I burped and burped and burped, but nothing helped. I could hardly move or sit straight up it was so painful.
I took several GasX tabs, but they didn't help. Walking around didn't help. I am prone to upper GI gas, but NEVER has it been this bad. It felt like it was trapped in my stomach, and felt like I would explode. Finally, after several hours it felt a little better. But dang, I NEVER want this to happen again.
I did have a meal that had alot of cheese/dairy and also broccoli. But I've eaten these things before, and nothing like this happened.
Any ideas what the heck happened, and how can I avoid it again?
I felt like I wanted to stick a big needle into my stomach to "decompress" me.
I've recently increased my yogurt and probiotic pills, thinking my GI tract was off-balance.
Any insights?
Thanks!
