Does anyone else experience this??

I am posting this in a few forums because I have had people tell me this could be caused by a number of conditions. I sometimes have this feeling like theres something blocking my airway, sort of like theres something in my throat and Im not getting enough air. Its sometimes accompanied with chest discomfort. I have had a heart monitor, an echo and blood work and my heart is fine. I do have anxiety and allergies. I also have palpitations. Someone told me that this could be caused by GERD(someone else said allergies). I dont get heartburn that often so I didnt think it was GERD. I also noticed that it makes me feel as if i need to burp and when I do it relieves it for a little while. I just want to be well informed when I bring this to my docs attention because he has a tendency to blame everything on my anxiety. Please help. Thanks.

It could be Silent GERD. Ask your doctor for a barium swallow, EGD, and a bravo test.
