Hi Denise

Wanted to update you on my phantom attacks.  After suffering a really bad one that reminded exactly how miserable I used to be before my gallbladder was removed I got really frustrated and ended up going to the doctor who then ordered a scan.  It turns out I have a left over stone floating around in the duct.  It is over 5mm in size so a decentish one.  It's quite a relief to know these attacks are not phantom but actually being caused by this stone. 

I'm now waiting on a decision from my surgeon as to what they will do to remove this stone.  Hopefully it will just be an endoscopy but not sure yet.

Wow, that's a real relief. If you have a stone, then there's an answer to your problem, and you can get better!

So much for my friend writing about her experience and sending it to me. She is a busy person...three grandkids she cares for a lot, and lots of family commitments. Sorry about that. Maybe she'll get to it sometime!

I'm so glad to hear that you've found the reason for your pain.
It'll be interesting to hear how they're going to get it out!

That's ok we are all busy people. I'll be interested to read if she gets a chance to write but no worries.

You'll be the first to know when she gets back to me! I'm waiting for her to email me. I haven't seen her for a long time, as she's always on the go!
