7 weeks after wrap surgery...I have come down with a head cold, and now the wrap is acting up too. Could it be from decongestants sticking in there? Four days ago, it started feeling like things were sticking where the wrap is. Now I am regurgitating small amounts of food. Are they coming from stomach or above the entrance to the stomach??? I can't breathe out of my nose and my wrap feels sore and bloated...What to do??

Good Morning and I am sorry to read you are having problems.  I have not had the wrap but I know one of our members will be along to help you out.


If you have major concerns I would also check with your physician.

You might be having trouble with the medicine getting stuck. Switch to a liquid cold medicine.

I think Joy is right; I was on liquids for a long time. I was told it would take 8 weeks before the swelling was mostly done...the way it was explained is that some 80 to 90% of the healing occurs in the first 8 weeks; the remainder will take a year. Give yourself time and scale back a little. I think the cold swells tissues, even tissues you may not be aware of; so switch to a liquid and see how it goes.

Thank you all so much. That was it . I switched to liquid and it is now better....I love this site!!!!...what a relief!!
