For the past month I have had a severe sore throat, trouble swallowing, swollen lymph nodes, barely able to talk or eat. After 4 visits to ER, I finally got to see an ENT Dr, he scoped me and said I had GERD and that my throat was severely burned from the acid. Does anyone know how long it takes to heal. He put me on Tecta and Ranitidine. And I am to drink lots of water and sleep sitting up.
