Please if anyone can help:

After how much time i can go for Lap Nissen as i had TIf done last week and i am having more reflux than before, acid is coming till my mouth which was never that case, i am taking 3 nexium per day that also not helping.

You're still healing from the surgery. During the first two weeks you have swelling that will cause some leakage. Wait four weeks for all the swelling to go down. If you're still having problems then go to a surgeon who's experienced in re-dos.
Are you sticking to liquids and limiting yourself to 1/2 cup of food every two hours?

Dear Joy,

thank you for the reply, two days post surgery everything was ok, the only bad thing happened i got a very bad hiccup for almost 24 hours and after that its a nightmare started, now i feel the acid coming to my mouth which was never the case, i can feel my esophagus in fire after 2 hours i eat. and no voice at all. yea am only drinking but lesser.

Oops! The hiccups might have popped the stays. You might want to ask your doctor for an xray to see if it popped.

he said no way huccups have cause damage surgery, and we are miles away as we not form the same country. i am from Arica he is from USA. can you guide please. i can go to see my Local GI or ..... but they won't know i think.

You could ask your local GI to look at it and see if it looks wrong. Also ask him to do a barium swallow.
The hiccups can mess up the TIF if they are strong enough.

Thanks for tip,

i will go to see my local GI on Monday and see what he tells me. Life's not easy i had so much post surgery, then everything collapsed. if only the esophagus was not on fire, it burns a lot joy.
