Hello, I am a newbie...

Hi all, I started having problem with gas back in early February. I went to my doctor and she gave me the PPI pills and I took them for a month and I felt much better so I stopped. Now after one month stop taking the pills, my gas came back bad again so I started taking my pills again. My question is that do I ask my doctor for another type or do I go back and ask for more of the same pills. I think my gas problem has a lot to do with me being perimenopause, I wonder if anyone is having problem like me. Before this gas thing I was generally in good health and I had no health issues. I already had an ultra sound done and the result was OK. Thank you.
