I just had the nissen wrap a week ago and I am pretty concerned. How do you know if you have blown the wrap? I was prepared to be on a liquid diet and eat soft foods but even one scrambled egg is painful. I have a lot of belching and feel like something is stuck right in the middle of the esophogus. Somes a burp clears it. At least I no longer have the bad taste in my mouth and I haven't had any reflux meds so maybe this thing worked. Since I did throw up a couple of times I'm wondering if I blew the wrap. Would you feel pain if you did?

Eggs are a little too tough to eat right now. Stick with liquids until day 14. You will be swelling until then and it will be easy to get things stuck until then. After that go to pureed foods and anything that can be chewed to a liquid for about a week or two. Remember to take small bites and chew, chew, chew and if it can't be chewed to a liquid don't swallow it.
You need some anti-nausea meds to prevent throwing up. There is a chance of popping stitches. You would feel pain if the threads popped and feel reflux again.
