CT Scan or MRI Scan?

I recently had an endoscopy and colonoscopy, the results were that I have Barrett's mucosa and Oesophaitis/reflux, 2 benign polyps and Duodenitis, also I was diagnosed as having Divertculosis.

Now I also had an abdominal ultrasound, and this showed I have multiple small calculi in my gall bladder.

The problem is however that my doctor seems to relate the pain I experience on a daily basis at upper right side back area near shoulder blade, and feels very much like it is gall stone related, but he insists that it is the duodenitis that is causing this.

I really would like a proper CT or MRI scan to rule out any obstruction either in the gall duct or pancreatic duct, am I right to ask for this?

All my GP had done is to increase the dose of the PPI (Omeprazole), but this wans't his idea it was the Dr that performed the procedure.

Do you think my doctor is trying the easy way out by blaming the inflammation of my duodenum rather than a stone issue?

It seems to me he could be misdiagnosing me when the pain could be due to another cause such as my gall stones.
