Hello my name is Shari and everything that brother John shared on acid reflex and the use of the pep machine was correct,I too am a have had serve red with acid reflex I did the sleep study ,and the more I used the machine the worser I got ,I even start having irregular hearts beats,I went through all types of medicine,nothing worked so I to began my research ,the first thing I did after the doctor told me to lose weight to bring my blood pressure down which was triggered in the first place by my lack of sleep which brought on stress,I too started my fast to seek the lord for the answer because all I knew was that I did not want to be forever medicated and still suffer with acid reflex,one of the first things I started was to monitor what foods and drinks that I was eating that triggered the flair ups and started the process of elimination,I too could not sleep and sometimes wake up not being able to breathe, which started after doing the sleep study,so to make a long story short I was not obese I am a size 12 but had a lot of gas ,bloating excercise was not helping at all I lost weight everywhere but my stomach,I went back and forth to my GI doctor and she had no answers but meds.i went to see a nutritionist and I was told to cut these foods from my diet which was causing the reflex,number one Dairy,all pastas,broccoli,tomatoes,strawberries,kiwis,even bananas, ,ketchup,any type of barbecue sauces, any spicy foods period, sugar,flour,wheat ,yes wheat,white bread,any and all fruit juices, especially pops,and power drinks yes I said it,now here are some foods that will put back the good fats and take away the bad fats ready!avocadoes,red apples, coconut water with lemons,aloe Vera juice pure,Apple cider vinegar make a tea with it, you can use raw honey and add lemons but use it with the coconut water,that's right drink plenty of coconut milk in place of dairy milk you can find it at petes grocery or whole foods,pinapple and coconut juice,drink plenty of distiller water throughout your day drink everything at room temperature say goodbye to cold drinks period,eat plenty of vegetables just no broccoli at all,eat Simon,tuna,sardines,basically all sea foods,thin chicken strips,tofu,cause it's high in proteins,absolutely no peanuts of any kind yes I said it sorry,when you cheat you pay the price,now when you sleep you should sleep on your side,with your head elevated so your food do not rise up ,but truly you should time yourself daily to go to be no less than three hours after you have eaten your dinner,to Joy I am finally loosing my stomach,never jogg just walk,in place around the house or on a tread mill,no sit ups ,if you do biking you should do it before you walk,oh and no ice cream,chips,cookies,pop corn or candys stick to your good fruits a vegtables the body is design to heal itself but you must listen to it when it's talking ,the lord created it that way, so trust it.it will tell you what it needs over you trying to tell it what you want. oh yeah I am in a good place in my body now I was determine to defeat that acid reflex demon,that right a real attack of the enemy like brother John said I too am learning to respect my body.oh and another thing if you are a red meat eater calm it down by eating less like only twice a month, no mayo,or cream dressings,olive oil dressings,garlic dressings,vengerettes and basics are good but no creamy dressing at all I know this is making you go humm! But your body will love you more especially your digestive system who is taking all the hits and whatever you do stay with the coconut oil when you fry meats it can be mixed with grape seed oil,olive oil, or any vegetable oil you can even take a tablespoon by mouth to help relax the stomach.hope this helps you it was good sharing and I too will keep you updated and you do the same have a bless prosperous and healthy life summit to to commit to restore your body back to its true state of being and put acid reflex away for good.
