I've heard part of it, but never all of it. Very inspiring.
Sleep well tonight.

Rita-
Yes I did have 3 nissens so far. My first was done wrong and it took almost 3 years before I found someone who could figure it out and he redid it the correct way and life was good again. Now this happened and i am back to square one. I had so much relief I had forgotten how much reflux hurts. Especially on a healed esophagus. It really hates acid a lot. the GI doctor tried saying I have a hyper sensitive esophagus, but I think it's just reacting to something it hasn't dealt with for over 2 years.
Anyway, try as best you can to get some sleep tonite and you will have a good nap tomorrow and doze off and on most the day. Can't wait to welcome you tot the "wrapped club".
Take care,
Bill

Surgery morning: I'm not too scared. I am very sleepy because I stayed up till midnight and woke up at 3:30. I've got enough acid for 20 people and could throw up now. I've already had my morning diarrhea and my head/sinuses are killing me.
Nothing unusual about
all the above however. I forget sometimes what the real reasons are that I'm having the surgery to start with. I don't know how I've stood all this for as long as I have. It's an awful way to live and hopefully at least part of it is going to be fixed.
Going out the door now and the main thing I'm worried about
is having diarrhea while I'm under sedation or needing to go and can't get out of bed after surgery in time enough to get there. I have so much bile I have accidents and have had them ever since my GB surgery.
Gotta run. I can't believe I'd doing this.
I pray to God it works.

Rita-
I know you have headed for the hospital, but wanted to let you know I am thinking about
you and all will go great. Don't worry about
any messes the nursing staff has seen it many times and it's nothing to be embarrassed about
. Had my share of these issues while stuck at Iowa City for the esophagus repair. I just wanted you to know we are thinking of you and await news of your recovery.
Take care,
Bill
