I attended the - Art of Living - course this past week (thr, fri, sat and sun). I am looking to see if I can possibly reduce the symptoms and cope with my GERD - by practicing the breathing exercises that they teach.
www.artofliving.orgI was quite impressed by the quality of teaching and the way it was taught. I am going to start to spend 15 minutes every morning doing the breathing exercises I've learnt. The "sudarshan kriya" breathing exercise was quite powerful - I felt. It has been known to target and calm the nervous system - which I suspect is the root cause of my GERD/LPRD. At the end of these breathing exercises, I feel the blood and oxygen flow into various parts of the body and felt strong sensations in the upper GI area and the brain area.
I'll be curious to know if anyone else has tried it.
