Anyone Else Have This Symptom?

Hey Guys,

I'm happy to say that I am finally healing rather well from my LPR flareup. However, I am still experiencing gluey/rope-like saliva. I also had a bout with PND, and was wondering if that can be related? Also, has anyone ever experienced this as a side effect of their PPI?

I stopped coughing, clearing my throat, don't feel mucus in my throat anymore, and my burping is less frequent, but I can't seem to shake the saliva symptom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I've had this occasionally. It was always after I'd had Gaviscon before bed. I've never noticed it particularly in conjunction with PND.

All I can recommend is drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day. It was the only thing that made it go away. I wonder if the Gaviscon and/or GERD was dehydrating me somehow?!? Or the increased acid made my mucous production go into super overdrive. Who's to say?
