Thank you Bill and Lanab for your help! There are some things that kinda set me apart from some of the other "posters" on here. I didn't know I had reflux as I don't feel it (no burning), however, for the record, I WAS diagnosed with GERD. I have erosion of the bottom of the esophagus to the top stomach (??) and the lower portion of my stomach. I went in for bleeding (vomiting and well- the other end) and pain of RUQ. Colonoscopy revealed nothing so went in a month later for EGD which showed the erosion. After looking at the photos Dr. gave me I cannot believe I am not in more pain than I am. It looks bad! Was just wondering if the surgery would fix it so there is no more erosion. I also have gastroparesis and LES valve does not close (NO contractions), also duodenum (bottom of the stomach) is paralized closed due to the GP. No ulcer or hernia reported. No HP or any other evidence of bacterial growth, though both of these areas are inflamed and show infection as well as erosion. Just got my biopsy report back yesterday from the nurse and she didn't know where we go from here. My PCP is out this week, so kinda wondering where we are going to go from here to get it cleared up! Any ideas?
