Hi All,Well, I got everything done in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas and am enjoying the lull before New Year's Eve and Day! There was a while there that I didn't think I'd make it, but I did! Yay!
Kitt,
What's the deal with the weather? I love snow in winter, and look forward to some white stuff heading our way. Not much predicted, but I do believe we'll be getting it sooner or later. I hope you and your family had a nice holiday celebration together!
Sandi,
We did have a wonderful Christmas with our little grandson. At 13 months he's too little to really know what's going on, but he definitely has enjoyed the decorations. I think he'll be very disappointed when we take them all down. His mommy and daddy gave us some very cute pictures of him as a gift. Now I need to decide where to hang them! Glad to hear you had a nice Christmas and are feeling a little more energetic these days.
Bill,
Sorry you're still struggling with some health issues, but I'm really glad you're back with us. This forum is the best...and you are an important part of its success. I hope you get things figured out soon and start feeling better.
Joy,
Here's hoping that you'll get all rested up over the holiday break and be ready to handle the exhausting job of teaching in the New Year. I'm sure your kids will miss you, and will be happy to come back to school and share their Christmas adventures! You're used to no snow at Christmastime, but up here in the cold North it just doesn't feel right! Hope you're feeling better today.
Mock,
Well, it is a small world, and generally a very snowy one in winter. I've never heard of Clockville, but am very familiar with Seneca Falls (It's a Wonderful Life!) and Utica. I lived in Central New York all my life and only moved to Western New York when my sons settled here. I like it a lot, though. What ever brought you to the Pac NW? Are you near the coast? Do you get a lot of snow there? I had a friend whose husband was in the park police and lived in the high desert of Oregon.
I'll be the first to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
(((Hugs)))
Denise
