I am going to take a sip .. roll it into my mouth .. and let it get absorbed in the mouth not letting it all go down ... and wish I feel better in 2012!
Wishing you all a healthier 2012 as well!

lanab-
Thanks for bringing this up. Since it has lots of bubbles this cn cause issues for those wrappers who cannot burp well. I have been able to burp fairly well and have been thinking of having one glass tonite. Much more than that and I would probably regret it.
Take care,
Bill

I know I will have a glass even though I will regret the repercussions.

Is it unusual to be able to burb? I came home from hospital a couple of weeks ago and had a big (excuse me) belly burp and have continued to do so. I'm not a soda drinker or a beer drinker but I wouldn't mind some bubbly tonight if I'd be ok.

I had a glass of wine with a dinner out. Our reservation was 4.30 so I could keep my rule about
no eating after 6.00.

Happy New Year everyone. My resolution is to stay out of the hospital in 2012! I told my wife that and she laughed at me, really hard too! Guess with spending a total of over 9 weeks in the hospital in 2011 she doesn't think I will be able to keep my resolution. LOL!
Take care,
Bill

Happy New Year!
I did enjoy a glass of champagne at midnight without any problems. I don't drink much wine as it's so acidic and my stomach is so touchy!Hey, but it's a celebration!I hope everyone had a good night, and that your 2012 is a great year!Denise

I had one drink and one coffee - very sore now on the following morning, despite having the drink 7hours before bed and the coffee 4 hours before bed. Not a great start to the year - silly me, fancy thinking I could behave like all the other grown ups I was out with :-(

MM, I take a pepto bismol tablet on an occasion like this to protect my stomach.

I took Gaviscon but it didn't help sadly. Felt fine when I went to bed but the night time GERD gremlin got me.
