I am new member, surgery scheduled for april, please send me posts about how it is for you all after this surgery with reintroduction of food, activity level, comfort , healing. My surgeon will be placing a G tube in my stomach for 8 weeks post surgery. He says it will help with fibrin formation at suture site internally where my stomach is sewn onto posterior abd. wall. this will make it a stronger anastomosis. I am a registered nurse, retired , age 60 and active with some comorbidity issues cardiac, htn, etc. Any insights , comments appreciated. I am not having a Nissen procedure.
