Please remember to take it slow with food introduction. You will better be able to judge what foods bother you and which ones are ok. The ones that bother you will have to be recycled and introduced at a later time..
The most important thing you can remember at this time is to relax into your recovery.. just let it flow.. don't push anything.. My dr advised soft foods until beginning of week 3.. then I started broiled/baked fish and mashed potatoes.. things like that.. did pureed and mushy food until 21 days.. then intro'd them one at a time.. to see what went down well and what hung up..
It seems you have a great outlook toward recovery and that is half the battle..My dr didn't have much advice toward my diet except the first 3 weeks and that it would be 6-8 weeks for bread or steak.. HAHAHAHA.. it was way longer than that for me.. but I am older and I am a bit of a chicken when it comes to trying new things that I think could make me feel bad.. so I took the easy way and was cautious...
I hope you will stay here and continue to share your good and bad and ask our advice when you are in need...
Good Luck in your recovery
