6 months post fundo - I noticed food was starting to stick again and it is painful

I had a nissen fund implication in December 2011. It was a challenging recovery process but by Aptil I was feeling and eating normal again. Just this month I noticed food was starting to stick again and it is painful if I am not very careful with my food choices and eating and chewing carefully. Ali's I have to use a lot of the GasX again with my meals. Is this normal.

Eloy, there are lots of experienced post surgery members around to help you. Can I suggest you amend your post to give the thread a title, which will help you catch the eye of the best people to help you!

You're probably still healing inside.
If you had the 360 degree wrap it's still a little tight. Stay away from tough dry foods. Make sure you chew throughly and eat small bites. It took me until the 5th month before I could eat whatever I wanted with no trouble.

I am also wondering if a medication could cause this. I have a bad knees, walking bone on bone& my doc wrote me a rx for Celebrex. I am having problems with asthma sx. Because of it, but the GI surgeon said it was ok to take, I don't think it is. Knee surgery soon, but. I am going to stick to my norco for pain. That Celebrex hasn't helped at all and the food sticking just started when I started the Celebrex

I'm not sure about certain medications causing this problem, but I do know that I'm 14 weeks out after TIF and Hernia repair. If I eat
bagels and peanut butter jelly sandwiches to fast, It will get stuck on the way down still. If those kinds of foods are the problem just try chewing them up really nice before swallowing followed by some water.
