Hi everyone--
Having my first endoscopy..this Wednesday.
I've had two colonoscopies & I know they were no big deal---
I'm not at all fearful..of the procedure--BUT...my BIG...& ONLY question is--
Does the Gastro Dr--give you the results right away--? (Like in the colonoscopy--where my Dr. said--"Ok...Rob--get up...everything was clear--you're fine")-
I do NOT want to have to wait..days OR weeks..(Heaven forbid)--for results of any biopsies- 
(I was Dx with "Diffuse Esophageal Spasm". ("Corkscrew esophagus"...a "motilty disorder -where the food is NOT propelled down..to the stomach..normally! I also have GERD)- Had this Dx
.3 yrs ago--from a barium swallow-)
My BIG worry..is "Esophageal cancer"..(A friend of mine..years ago--died from it--& when a friend passes...from something--it stays with you)--
From what I have read--NOW...even IF you have "Barrets Esophagus"...(a precancerous change in cells)--they can ...NOW---ablate it...away)---
SOooo--My dear friends--I DO hope...I get a response---(Or two or three)--from people who have HAD endoscopies--! AGAIN...I am NOT concerned about the procedure--BUT--My MAIN question is-----can the Dr---give me a "CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH"...right after the procedure---without...having to WAIT--for ANY...biopsies---! THAT....scares me---! 
I just need some..reassurance--
