so I had the Nissen back in March.
I was in pain until Mid May, then i started feeling better, was having some pain off and on but i felt like i was making progress.
Beginnning of June it felt like i had regressed a bit, i think it was because of eating chips (hard sharp food) so i weaned off of those and was feeling better after a week.
and then again in August after a long car ride, i took my parents to the air port in the next state over, i was fine on the way there, about a 2 hr drive, and then on the way back another 2hrs or so i started to get chest pain, i figured it was because i was cooped up in the car and being in that position had some ill effect on my insides, once i got home and was up and around for awhile it seemed to cease, and i always felt better after i went on a motorcycle ride. I have a sport cycle (crotch rocket) so i i'm leaning forward over the gas tank and for some reason it made me feel better.
Now after that incident in august, i was feeling pretty good from then on into september, until about 2.5 weeks ago i started to get some pain sporatically/intermittent through the day, at work and whatnot, I would just have some chest pain feeling like muscle pain, and then later it would be gone. I just kinda shook it off thinking it was just something working its way about, cause it hasn't been a year yet.
Well more and more i noticed the pain on the way into work when i was driving, as soon as i would get up and around i would seem to feel better, but i would feel fine when i woke up in the morning laying down flat all night.
so as this last week went on i thought i was getting better until yesterday i was feeling crappy most of the day and last night i felt terrible.
after finally getting to sleep i woke up this morning feeling better, i tried to lay in bed as long as possible but after laying there awake i started to get the same pain from last night.
I'm so very frustrated, cause right now nothing is helping with the pain again, i feel like i did back in april and may.
i've been taking tylenol/aspirin daily with no effect and now its the weekend so i feel like i'm in a jam until monday comes around where i can actually talk to someone at the clinic and i dont' know what to do or say anyways.
Does this sound like something that will recede and is a fluke and part of the healing process?
I really thought i was on the way to recovery but these last few days have been taxing.
does it ever end.
advice? thoughts?
thanks i just needed to put this somewhere.
