Hello all,
I am nearly 3 weeks post op after Nissen Fundoplication. I have been an active scuba diver and underwater photographer for nearly 30 years. Because my repair surgery was necessary and not elective, I had no time to consider my future as it relates to diving.
I am curious if any of you are divers and if there was any dissent on diving after this type of surgery. I've perused several of my medical/diving web sites and there seems to be conflict in professional opinions. After release from my surgeon, I'll be searching for a local dive physician for guidance. In the interim, I'd love to hear back from any fellow divers.
