I was searching around the internet looking for some local doctors to go to and I found this device called the Reza band. It's suppose to be coming out during the fall of 2013, but it's suppose to put pressure on your UES while you sleep. It's said to stop reflux from entering your throat.
heres the website.

Interesting. I wonder which subset of GERD patients it's supposed to go to.. will the people who it works for have a lower than normal UES pressure? What about
people with abnormal amounts of reflux?
Here's a link with a picture of it.

I just came across the same link. May be helpful for night time LPR refluxers. Certainly not a cure but I'd say it's worth keeping an eye on.
