Day after endoscopy - what now?

Hi, I had my endoscopy yesterday and they found nothing. That is obviously very good news but now what do I do? The symptoms are still there but with no obvious reason. Also, has anyone been weepy the next day? I'm assuming it could be the sedative but I just can't stop crying.

your weepiness could be caused by the after effects of sedation.  I know it is a quick acting sedation that people come out of very quickly too that they use; however, the drugs can make you feel a bit "funky" and down for a day or two.  If doc said everything looks fine, then try not too worry too much (I know it's hard).  Sadly we do have to wait for the biopsies to confirm docs findings.  But it is a good thing all look clear.  Good Luck.

Thankyou for responding; I do feel a bit less weepy today. I've re-read my discharge form and there isn't anything on there to say that they've taken any samples for biopsy so not sure if they've done that or not. The Dr did say that my symptoms don't suggest dyspepsia as the indigestion feels more gassy than acidic.

They are gong to send me a follow-up appointment for outpatients so I'll just have to wait and see.
