Over a week ago I had a second endoscopy done (because I thought the stricture might have come back after the first endoscopy I had back in July.) I am now experiencing more discomfort than I had after my first endoscopy. Feeling like a lump is in my upper sternum, pain between my shoulder blades and pain while swallowing. I know these are all GERD symptoms and I am still on the PPI I was on before this test. It's just that after the first one, I was just fine the next day and with this one I am not. No stricture was found, the doctor "just looked around." No biopsy or anything else. To me it just feels swollen and the pain is helped when I take Alleve and when I lay down. Have others experienced this?
