Sorry for making a new post of this, I know its a topic that's been dealt with a lot.
Anyway, I eat a lot of carbs - cereal, rice and bread mostly, basically a part of every meal. Can someone enlighten me on what a standard day on one of these low carb (for GERD) diets could be like?
I read a study from Duke U. that said limiting to 20% carbs as a guideline. But I have no idea what a diet like this would look like, especially since I don't eat meat except fish. Would I just be eating salads and fruit? It seems like I would not be able to keep any weight on.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Five years ago I promised myself to always be looking for solutions and open to new ideas. So I am trying to live up to that now, giving up my beloved carbs. Any advice on the topic would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
