Motility issue?

I am scheduled to see a surgeon for a consult. Very interested in the nissen. I know you have to pass a motility test. Do you think if sometimes I feel the top part of my throat gives me a a little bit of a hard time swallowing this means I won't pass it? Has anyone else passed it when they sometimes have had a hard time swallowing? I was hoping this could just be a common symptom of Gerd...and that it doesn't mean I am going to fail. I think this test is the only thing that will determine if I can have the surgery or not. I have Barretts so obviously the Gerd is bad enough~

I have the feeling of a tight throat, sometimes of a lump in my throat. I had the manometry test done a few weeks ago and my results were pretty normal, according to my ENT. I found that odd because this symptom drives me crazy, and I sometimes have trouble swallowing bread and even my own saliva, but apparently I did just fine with the test. I've now been referred to a surgeon. By no means am I saying it is in your head, but maybe the problem feels worse than it actually is. I think I'm just very annoyed by this symptom and really conscious of it.
