The worst GERD for the last 5+yr's-Doc's wanted to do a Nissen.

I was always complaining about my GERD and how only 2-tabs of Nexium would just do the job most of the time. Almost every night I would wake up with a bubbling in my lower chest that would take hours to subside. I had a PH probe and 5 upper G.I.'s with all of the attachments known to the G.I. docs. I refused the surgery over and over. And I am glad I did because 60 day's ago I was taken off of my 90mg's daily of methadone for chronic pain and 99% of all of my G.I. symptoms disappeared. for many yr's I asked these doctors if this medication could be causing this and they all said NO. well they were wrong and my digestive tract is still intact. Thank GOD I didn't listen to them. I knew in my mind it was the methadone.. Randy
