Glucosamine, chondroitin, omega-3, and green tea are just a few that help people with arthritic pain. I would discuss taking any supplements with my Dr. especially if you are on prescript
ion drugs.
Good Luck,

Celebrex and NSAID meds like ibuprofen or aspirin are enormously helpful for pain -- strong effect. But they are VERY hard on the esophagus and stomach. I cannot even take 1/4 of an ibuprofen without feeling acid. That small dose helped my pain, by the way, showing how powerful those drugs are.
There is no natural supplement that will come close. (I have an advanced degree in biological science, so i know a little.)
Your are in a bad situation --- pain and no viable reliever. I have to take a narcotic, Tramadol, for my pain, which has hardly any gastrointestinal effects. I have taken tramadol for years and have no problems with it except for some constipation. I did not get addicted, like some people fear with drugs. Good luck. J

jip12 is correct. Tramadol is very gentle on the stomach and it works for pain quite well. It's not natural though.
