I am going in for the Nissen Fundoplication on April 8th. Can any of you tell me exactly how long the procedure is? I know my husband isn't going to want to stick around the hospital the whole time and I am debating on whether to just get dropped off and have him come back to pick me up. If the procedure isn't that long, I will have him hang out at the hospital.

Mine was about
90 minutes, not counting waiting 2+ hours for other sugeries to be completed. The wait time is unknown, in my case the surgery was supposed to be at 10am but ended up being closer to 12:30.
