Hi Retired Seabee,We'll be here to welcome you to the Wrapped Club as soon as you feel up to posting. I've been wanting to respond to you many times, but it seemed whenever I was ready to get on, something happened at my house so I had to tend to it, and then I'd lose your post among all the others. My husband and I babysit our two grandchildren...a little boy who's 27 months and a 3 month old girl. They keeps us hopping!
I wanted to tell you that I have a special place in my heart for Seabees...my father was one. He joined the Navy during World War 2, and was one of the group who went to Pearl Harbor to repair all the damage when it was attacked. Being a Seabee definitely prepares you to be able to fix anything. He was always great with his hands...building and fixing whatever needed attention.
Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I know exactly how you feel. I remember my anticipation four years ago when I was waiting for my surgery.
You'll do fine!
Best wishes!
Denise
