So I'm thinking I need to find an alternative to Nexium for my GERD. I also have Crohn's and I'm beginning to put together that the Nexium is aggrevating some of my CD symptoms. Any suggestions on an alternative?

There's always zantac, Carafate, tums, gaviscon, and diet changes.

Thanks Doggbones, but OTC meds don't help me. Probably because I also have crohns in my stomach, that throws a whole other spin on things. I did call the GI and per his nurse "he feels it a coincidence" --- my back side! I told them I'd try again but if the results are the same I want a different script
.
