12:30 p.m. I had an upper endoscopy in preparation for my forthcoming Nissen Wrap. I went home and basically slept for the remainder of he afternoon and early evening. 10 years ago I had the Bard Endocinch procedure. The surgeon who performed the endoscopy noted that there was very little remaining of my Bard Endocinch (one stitch).
Does anyone know what happens to he peritineum membrane after surgery? It's very fragile and tears easily. Does it regenerate?
The next step is for me to schedule the actual sugery. I should know my surgery date sometime next week. I'll need to apply for financial assistance to aid with the copay. I have good insurance but even a 10% copay is costly for me. How did the rest of you handle copays?
