Going back to my GI. we will discuss the LINX.
however, I want to make sure I have done everything and checked everything before having such a surgery. I do have Barrett's. it was a very small length and was ablated 4 months ago. GI checked it with cellvizio and a biopsy. It hadn't come back.
take ppi twice a day. WHAT TESTS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND I HAVE ?
I have had the 24 hour ph test. Barium swallow test.
I will check on candidiasis . IgA, IgG, IgM and blood work.
I am getting my allergies tested again and then trying shots. ( I was a silent allergy person. Never had pain or noticed anything other than a stuffy nose 24-7. Til I took the ppi's ...then wham! So since antihistamines work great for my throat I will up that and try shots. My ENT said that everything he ads now is correlating allergies to acid reflux. He said he doesn't know how but that's what he is reading.
long story short....what would you rule out. What tests should I take?
by doing all this I may prevent myself from being one of the 10 percent that still have to take ppi's after the LInx. And maybe I won't have to have so soon and can wait a few years....maybe 5-10 before having it. Thanks
