Went to the doc and discussed my situation and the LInx.
My GI teaches at Stanford University and I like him.
Long story short he will test to see if I have bile reflux. it doesn't actually test bile but in a round about way they can postulate acid or not?????
Anyway, going to get the 24 hour impedance test next week.
If anyone knows more info on the test it would be great to hear.

It goes beyond the regular PH test in that it can measure weakly acidic and non-acidic reflux. In other words, it is better at diagnosing "volume reflux", regardless of PH, than the regular PH test, which only measures PH levels (and thus, acid reflux only)...

Cant bile reflux by diagnosed by endoscopy? As it shud show up in the stomach when its not supposed to.

Have you had or talked with your doc about the roux-y surgery. I read that article. Very interesting?
