Here are some articles on muscle cell infusion to treat weak sphincter and reflux.

I am wondering what stage the stem cell research is heading in now. Because stem cell treatment seems to be the best way to solve weak muscle problems, including gerd/lpr.

Anyone has any updates?

This is what I've been hoping for but I haven't seen anything new on it. Looks like that research was from 2009. Hopefully someone can find something on it.

I just watched a news report about dr's taking stem cell from your bone marrow and injecting it into damaged muscles/body parts. The paitent reported feeling better than ever. Need to find a dr willing to do this for the les.....

DOGGBONES, I understand your need to keep looking for information on the most updated info however please be careful what you promote here in the forum as many people out of desperation are at risk for scammers. Do you know the source of the new report for the program you watched last night? Legitimate news sources are usually OK to post links too. My job here is to keep the peace, protect the members from scammers and get rid of spammers. A scam is a dishonest plan, especially for getting money and people with chronic as well as acute diseases are susceptible to online cures including myself.    My position  is a volunteer position. I have been doing it for a long time.   As a person dx les then a year ago I have read and reread online info on how to magically cure cancer but if I read carefully I always find the catch and yet I have spend money as I feel as desperate as many of you do.   Blessings, Kitt

I don't think the links are related to selling products or services. The links are just some articles about researches of a professor at Stanford university on using muscle stem cells to restore weak Les of animals. There is no product and service.

Also, again, I personally believe the development of stem cell researches can have potential to treat/cure many human being diseases, including Gerd/lpr.

Of course, there are many risks related to stem cell, and how to control and avoid the risks is an important research task of scientists. Also we can use adult stem cell to minimize the religious debate.

Another problem is that some oversea clinics use immature stem cell therapies to treat patients and cause bad results. But this shouldn't hinder the progress on stem cell research itself.

I don't think stem call technique a "dream" or "myth". People shouldn't be scared by the progress of new revolution.

I hope the government can fund stem cell research in future. We have wasted plenty of time.

Very interesting stuff. I have read were they use your own bone marrow and inject it into the bad organs or tissue.

Yes, that is what they do or will do, I think.

The research above made a big progress in safety issues of IPS cell by using chemicals alone, as nature mentioned, "researchers have been striving to achieve this since 2006". The original IPS generation has a risk of producing tumors by using genes.
