I have been reading and trying a product called cell power. I test myself saliva ph once a week and then add drops to my water.
I was at the store and a rep tested my ph. I was more alkaline than the average person he tests. I know this is not scientific but I wonder if the ppi's are making me more alkaline?
And, if it disease occurs in acidic environments then could the ppi's be helping mu/us in the long run.
The one thing I have noticed since trying this product is that my red scales and dry patches on my elbows and knees disappeared .
I do have more saliva but that could be the fact that I try and drink 80 oz of water a day.
GERD is better but there I can't say this is responsible.
However, I have always thought the ppi's are bad, but if my body was or is acidic then bringing my ph towards a more alkaline base might be better than me not taking ppi's. ??
